A Whole New World

Had dinner at the Centrepoint Tower the other night. The food was pretty bad, but the view was spectacular! Some parts of Sydney look so different from high up at night!

1. A computer game
Is this a scene from an RPG? I reckon it looks like one. Seriously! But NO! It's Hyde Park south!

2. Look east!
*documentary mode* And here we have St Mary's Cathedral. On the bottom you can just make out the Archibald Fountain in Hyde Park, and toward the right all nicely lit up is William Street (you know, the street in the centre of the Cross City Tunnel kerfuffle).

3. A new railway station in Sydney?
Could it be??? Did they open a new station next to Town Hall? If only they did! But alas, it's just the Queen Victoria Building.

4. A REAL railway station
And of course, here's a picture of Central station.

Gotta love it!

Viv: Hehehe yeah pretty nice views from up there!

Ley: Hehehe well The Summit restaurant @ Australia Square is also a revolving restaurant. Maybe should go there to check out the night views next time, then see whether Centrepoint or Australia Square is nicer!

Bet: Ahhh when I was there, the roast dishes on offer were beef, pork, lamb, camel and kangaroo. Not sure about koala... =S
