Here's something off the Sydney Buses website! I suppose the ball lanes should be diverting diversion in this case, but Mitchell will be full of areus services. Yep! =)

Diversions on Pittwater Road services, delays expected
Due to a fallen power pole in Brookvale on Pittwater Road at Chard Road, ball northbound lanes areus services are closed to traffic. Buses are diverting diversion via Sydenham Rd, Mitchell and then back onto Pittwater Rd.Delays are expected so please allow extra travelling time when planning your trip.

Those Mercedes Benz buses are old school. Dont get too much of those anymore! Needless to say...they were extremely roud.....
loud...roud...engrish...get it? hhahaahahaha HAhahaahahahahahaa
mm. Fridays with no Glue is strange
haha if you want old buses come catch an 891! =)
for some reason, the 891/895 has a disproportionately larger number of old buses serving it compared to all the other routes in the Eastern Suburbs.
my hypotheses? since State Transit can't get as much revenue from running one of those buses due to all the concession fares, it might as well give us the old buses (no air conditioning = cheaper to run).
although the 891 probably makes more money than some other bus routes...
