char: hahahahaha WORSE... mummification with a fire ripping through the pyramid and the fire suppression systems not working! =P
jeff: they were meant to be "char siew gok" - the cooks made the char siew themselves, so it was such a waste to have to throw those trays of food away =(
the story: during lunchtime, the kitchen was incredibly busy and so people lost track of what was cooking. 2 hours later, there was a terrible burning smell coming from the kitchen. some of the tutors went to explore the ovens and found the source of the smell...
we managed to do it AGAIN the following morning by forgetting about, and consequently burning and writing off, a few trays of hash browns =(
why does all the good food get burnt?!
