Owww concession day return Strathfield to City goes from $3.40 to $3.80. Weekly green travelpasses jump from $21.50 to $23!! It's worse if you're paying adult fares!!
In other news, RailCorp now officially owns the Epping-to-Chatswood rail line as of 12.01am Friday 19th December...WOW!

it was owned by the Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation (TIDC) on behalf of the government since 1 January 2004 until the handover.
the line's not running revenue services yet, but everything's ready to go. The ball is now in RailCorp's court - basically, it's up to RailCorp when it wants to start running services (which should be February/March 2009).
